id say 45w is the max on a warm day, i keep mine at 35 watts bc i hate a dry hit and like chain vapin it
I do like the Atlantis, seen on the right with that 7ml tank, but I like the Artic on the left a lot better for a number of reasons..the large juice inlets let it wick quickly( no dry hits) even with the thickest VG max juices...its dual coil and this .2 ohm coil is rated up to 100w.yea the coils are alittle hit and miss ive notice some can handle 45w easily while others dry burn at 30w
so what i do and suggest is for every coil start it at 30w and bump it up by 3 taking a good 10 vapes back to back in between til you hit its limit
Yeah, the Atlantis was my first subtank..yea ive heard nothing but good things about the arctic, i would get it over the atlantis if i was to buy one today but when i got the atlantis there wasn't any other subtank out yet.
the thing i dont like about the Atlantis is you can buy the caged tank and you can buy a 7ml tank but you cant buy one thats both
I vape my Atlantis at 40-42w with the widest airflow slot for a cooler vape and good flavor/vapor..(lung hits of course)My Atlantis hits best at 25w. If I get into the 30 range the vape hit is too hot for me. However maybe higher wattage will give me better flavor that I have been n looking for
The new tanks are crazy. Just got the Starre and it hits like a beast and flavor is good. However the .25 coils r a hot hit and it drinks juice like a thirsty bitch lolol. Surprisingly I have my Atlantis on nowYeah, the Atlantis was my first subtank..
Then my brother told me how much better the Arctic was..And now he's telling me how much better the newer Starre is to the Arctic...Good Lord, it seems that subtanks are hot for 2015 so far! Lol

That is surprising indeed...more airflow helps in a cooler vape for me..higher wattages means a thicker more flavorful vape as well...I find that happy medium between the two...I've tried too low wattage settings and flavor really suffered, as well as clouds...airflow is key to keeping my higher wattages tolerable. The new tanks are crazy. That sounds great!I did have the Starre turned down two clicks so I may put it back on and try more airflow when it's time to refill lolol
My Atlantis v2 and High Voltage Sub-Ohm Tank both run @ 80w easy and are amazing.Yeah, the Atlantis was my first subtank..

Lol...my Atlantis is collecting dust too..its soo old school, lol... The Arctic is much better but now I just ordered the FreeMax Starre that will replace the Arctic as top dog....this subtank war has gotta end for me sometime soon...I'm running out of money ! LolMy Atlantis v2 and High Voltage Sub-Ohm Tank both run @ 80w easy and are amazing.
You let me know where this stops, my Atlantis v1 is collecting dust with my RDA's
Just got my Starre this morning...it's by far the best subtank I've vaped yet..35W is the sweet spot for me on the Atlantis Version 1. Try out the Version 2, they've now joined the organic cotton club. The 0.3w coil hits beastly at 80W.
Insane is so effin true. hard to believe it until you pull a vape on it... Simply amazing.. its gotta be due to massive airflow and dual vertical coils. Cant imagine what will be next lololololJust got my Starre this morning...it's by far the best subtank I've vaped yet..
3x better than the Atlantis, 2x better than the arctic..best airflow of the three and with the .25 ohm dual cotton coil vapor and flavor production is insane at 45-48w..plus it has the bigger 5ml tank.
Atlantis and arctic are back on the shelf..lol

You're welcome..Cool thanks man. Looks like a sweet deal. Been doing some research online and getting a little confused... There is a Vapestone Maganus that is supposedly identical to the Freemax Starre. I'm reading that the Vapestone Maganus is rated up to 150W while the Freemax Starre is rated to 100W, and there is apparently a Freemax Starre Version 2? Any take on this?
You're welcome..
Don't know much about vaping at 15Ow..
Anything over 75w on my IPV3 is too hot... I think I have the V1.
Lots of subtanks out there so do a little research and find the one that works for you... Right now the Starre is my top dog...lol
