I only have that battery in my low powered Provari.. Its a button top rated at only 10A, if I remember right..quit using the Provari two years ago...lolAnyone have an idea or has seen a test on this battery? Wanted to find out what the continuous discharge amperage was for it. Is it worth adding a modular piece to my mech so it will heat up faster?

The AW 18490 1200mAh has a 18A continuous discharge rate.So i was wondering what a safe build would be for it. I figured it can heat up faster than my 18350 and i can build lower
Mine is a 1100 mah, just was tryin to see if any tests were done and someone can conclude a safe amount of amps. A safe build for it..The AW 18490 1200mAh has a 18A continuous discharge rate.

Cool man thanks, yeah probably a .4 would be good and not as much stress. Thing is with a .55 build with my 18350 just doesnt heat up quick on my tomahawk mod, the 490 is just a little longer. The resistance of both coils would be OK. However, you would put a lot of stress on the batteries and they won't last long either.
