Hey gang, I decided to do my first write-up on a build. I specifically chose my new Axial RDA as I came up with some helpful tips to get a really good experience with this RDA.
For this build I chose 26ga SS316L, 6 wraps around 3.5mm, spaced. For me this is a good build for a restricted DL/loose MTL build.
I angled the coil like so. In this way, the slots to access the screws are covered to prevent leaking, and the airflow is not covered. Notice where the jig is aligned:
Came out to .55 ohms, dry burn pulsed at 15 watts until the inner winds are blue and the outer winds are purple and legs are golden.
Took a section of rayon, removed about a quarter:
Thinned out the tails with a dental pic. It's progressively thinner from the coil outward.
Tuck the wick into the wells as so:
Prime the wick, and use tweezers or a dental pick to make sure the air holes are not blocked but the screw slots are:
At 420 degrees and 55 watts, on two airholes open this is a really nice flavorful build with not too much vapor.
Hope this was a help to anyone! Enjoy!
