Bad experience changing juices. Anyone else?

I'm experiencing an issue, and I was hoping someone on here had a similar experience that could help shed light on why I'm having it.

I began vaping to quit smoking, so I shopped juices in tobacco flavors. I loved the classic tobacco flavor of the Blu e cig, so I settled on a local house juice that was close in taste. I vaped that exclusively for about a year, before I experimented with others.

While searching lemon based flavors, I found one I fell in love with, and it became my daily. After a few months, I wanted to create some variety in my vape, but I ran into this issue. Any juice, besides my daily, burns something horrible and tastes disgusting. I've tried several brands and flavors, only to experience the same horrible burn and nasty taste. I can only vape this one juice. Anyone else have this happen?

Maybe nic level is too high. I started off with 6mg now at 3mg
I'm at 3mg. All of the juices I try, I do it at 3. I smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for years. My body could handle higher levels of nicotine, but that messes with juice flavors, so I'm good at 3. It's just enough to knock the edge off. So I don't think its nicotine levels, though I haven't tried the juices without nicotine. I've even tried other flavors in the same brand as my daily juice.

Are you changing coils when you try new flavors? New coils have a break in period if they're store bought factory coils.

I wrap my own coils, using n80 clapton, on a geek vape blitzen rta. And yes, I change coils and clean out the tank. I've just recently picked up a themis mesh rta. I haven't tried any new juices in it, as I'm still learning the wic on the picky thing.

Hmm I'm not sure then. Never had just one flavor that tastes good. Maybe someone else will chime in and help solve this for you.

Do the new juices have a different Pg/vg ratio? That can affect wattage needed to make vapor..... PG doesn't need as much heat as VG to vaporize...

The juice I use daily is called creek water and its 70/30. One of the other juices I've tried is from the same line, with the same ratio. It's called lemonade stand. I know for sure that one of the other juices is a 70/30 as well. It's the same company, just a different brand line. The creek water tastes fantastic, but the others give a harsh burn, and it tastes like really bad burnt nuts. Probably the worst vape experience I can imagine, even worse than your worst dry hit.

Just recheck. There a big difference between 70% VG and 70% PG.. some companies do offer juices at different VG/PG ratios.

Then there how different type of flavors are made.... the new juices could have more alcohol in them... maybe need to vent or age a bit before use....

Some juices do just need more or less power than others.

What's the brand of Creek water? I've heard of it but can't remember the vendor. Ahh smokecrossroads. They're made at a place I mow. They gave me a sample pack once tasted like shit. Are you using more of their juice just different flavors? That may be the issue. It's distributed to all the smoke and vape shops. Low end juice from what I've tried it.

The one I use is from Block Party. It's a Vapor Maven brand, which is a chain of vape shops around me. The Lemonade Stand is Block Party also. I thought about trying it with 0 nicotine, but it only comes in 100ml bottles. That's a waste, if it's still crap.

Never heard of that juice. I know the smokecrossroads isn't very good to me. Maybe try a more known brand of juice instead. Something that has great reviews. Vapewild.com is great. Cheap and ships fast.3 bucks for a 10ml isn't to bad. Try the Hannibal nectar or something you think you'll like. I'll have to read back but did you mention what mod it's on. I think you said n80. Are you trying to run in temp control or something

Huh. I’ve had juices I don’t like....we all have....and I’ve burnt up coils by accident....we’ve all done that, too.....but I’ve never experienced what you’re experiencing. @HondaDavidson is correct about some juices needing to be at certain temps(i.e. some chocolate can burn at too high temps). Maybe try a “premium” juice? Like Cuttwood or Cosmic Fog? I know it costs more $$, but maybe a 15ml just to see if it’s the juice line you’re using. I don’t know.....I’m at a loss. The only thing I can think of besides the juice being bunk is the temperature being off.

I have a Smoant Cylon and a Geek Vape Aegis Legend. I've had the experience on both mods, between three different tanks. I've got Smok X baby with rba kit, Smok TFV12 with and rba kit, and a Geek Vape Blitzen rta. I run dual nichrome 80 coils at .15 to .18 ohms, and vape between 75 and 90 watts. If I'm feeling ballsy and wanna piss the wife off, I kick up 120 for a bit and make the house look like a night club. But I usually stay below 100. It's a more pleasant vape for me. I also close off the airflow a bit, to give me a little resistance, like a cigarette. For the past few days, I've switched over to a Digiflavor Themis mesh rta, using it on my Aegis at 75 watts. But I haven't tried new juices on it. Hell, it's taken me these past few days just to get the build and wic down on it and not get nasty dry hits.

One of the juices I tried was what I thought was a higher end. Or at least the price was. It's called Lemon Twist strawberry queen. In fact, it was this juice that I first had this experience with, then more later. I even tried my old daily juice again, the one I started vaping with, and same thing. I'm at a loss on it. I gave the Lemon Twist my buddy, and he liked it.

I think we have lift off. You vape 70-80 watts but closed the airflow to mimic a cigarette. It's not enough airflow for that much power. I'm thinking it's a lot hotter of a vape with the airflow closed, am I correct? That's more of a cloud wattage. My d vices that mimic a cig run at like 10-20 watts. And are abov 1ohm. At below 1 ohm will need more power as you know bit the airflow has to be able to provide enough "cooling" to not burn up the coil. Sorry for the book
