Last night the switch on my stainless BFM spot welded the stainless button to the inside of the stainless switch housing and melted the insulator in my Zenith RDA before I could unscrew the switch from the tube..scared the hell out of me!
Took the switch apart and tried to polish out the arc marks out but to no avail..
I put it back together and in the dark could actually see sparks fly out of the housing/button assembly..(this is with a .5 ohm build)
Stainless to stainless apparently isn't a good conductor. I contacted James at BCV city vapor and he said send it in for replacement..but I think I'll order the brass/copper switch and matching brass top cap for it instead.. I don't trust a stainless to stainless switch anymore for safety..it could spot weld itself together again and maybe something worse happing next time.
