Banana cream

Hey guys so I'm looking to get what I call the right banana cream vape. I have tried most of the banana cream flavors also have tried most banana and cream flavors mixed. Now on to my question, I now have FA banana and am thinking about mixing it with some vanilla bean ice cream in hopes of a real banana cream flavor. What's everyone's take on this, I'm very open to all suggestions

Funny that a Banana Cream popped into my head while driving today while vaping a Strawberry Banana DIY of my own. I do not use the flavorings you listed so I can't be of any help but if you have Liquid Barn flavorings I could. Good Luck

I don't think I have ever tried the FA banana. I have tried a decent amount of banana flavors and Lorann Banana Cream colorless is the best, so tasty.

TFA has banana cream, it's good. Maybe mixed with some vanilla or strawberry. I like liquid barn banana 6%, Fa kiwi 3%.

Cap banana split is like 95% banana cream flavor, I wouldn't use it at a base, but would be a good addition.

I also like the TFA Banana Cream, and you can add 1-2% TFA Dairy Milk, CAB VBIC, or CAP Vanilla Custard v1.
I'd only start with 1% CAP VC v1 tho.
Add 1-2 drops of TFA Banana Ripe or a bit of FA Banana.
Whipped Cream & Marshmallow are a couple others that might be good too.

I actually bought TFA Ripe banana and was planning to use some TFA Bavarian Cream with a little Marshmallow to make some Banana Cream
don't see anybody mention Ripe Banana, I'm starting to guess it's not that great of a flavor
damn it, and I just made an order yesterday. Was thinking about getting either the FA banana or IWA Banana, too late now :(

Ripe banana is good, it's pretty accurate.

It's pretty strong IMO, and don't use any plastic syringes with rubber plungers as it will melt the rubber.
Drops into mix bottle directly using a scale or use a glass syringe.

Tagging along. I'm looking to create a more authentic Banana's Foster than anything I've tried. Most are way too high in banana, and the candy banana ones are pretty nasty.

I dumped out my TFA Bananas Foster as I thought it tasted like crap, just an FYI.
Suspect many could make one from scratch that would be way better anyway.
But something I've never played around with yet.

Ripe Banana is cool at less than 2% in mixes. Above that it tends to obliterate other flavors in a nasty "smoking wet banana peels" way. I would not vape it single flavor. Works well as a compliment at 0.5% in any mix that's using TFA Banana Cream.

Thanks for the heads up. Is ripe banana a more realistic banana as opposed to candy banana?

Banana has always been one of flavors i could never really get to work in a "good" vape. I found both TFA Ripe and FW to be pretty bad, the TFA Banana Cream DX to be too generic tasting, and FA's simply isn't strong enough.

(the above applies with TFA/FW banana bread flavorings too for that matter).

Lorann's Banana Cream was my favorite of all the brands i tried, but still didn't quite hit the mark for what i was hoping for. I recently took a flyer on Flavorah's Banana and i'm cautiously optimistic though while trying it at low %s. Still a test in process but the Elvis vape I have been working on came out with a better banana taste then I've gotten using any of the other brands above. Have a few banana cream type vapes steeping now that are using it.

Most seem to have that familiar taste from the Banana Candies I used to eat.
I suspect it's due to the same artificial flavorings used.

See and that's what I'm not looking for. Don't get me wrong I still like those banana marshmallow candies but I'm shooting for more of a realistic banana cream flavor. I got a few steeping and will see how they go

Yeah, definitely steer clear of Inawera then. It was the worst in that regard imo.

I make a banana cream using TW GS Banana, FLV Cream, with a touch of TW GS Vanilla.

Yeah, i just tried a few of the Flavorah Banana vapes I had steeping (1.5 -2.5% in each). While the specific profile I'm looking for in each isn't quite there yet, the banana portion of it mostly is. Or at least the best I've managed to pull out of a flavoring yet. I get a straight forward, non-candy tasting type banana that isn't overpowering the others...yet isn't getting lost in the back round either.

Taste is obviously YMMV, but certainly worth a try paired with some of the FA creams imo.

Well these are my latest adventures, they are all steeping till this weekend before I try them. I'm sure they will all need a tweaking but should be a good baseline to start from

3% banana (fa)
1.5% vanilla bean ice cream (tfa)
.75% vienna cream (fa)

3% banana (fa)
1.5% vienna cream (fa)
.5% VBIC (tfa)

3% banana (fa)
2% fresh cream (fa)
.5% vanilla classic (fa)

I will keep you all informed on how they turn out. What's everyone's opinion on these?

The banana needs to be in the middle. Cream, banana, and then vanilla. Adding too much banana makes the final mix taste sweet, but nondistinctive.

Well guys I've been sampling all 3 for a few weeks now and they all still need a bit of tweaking. I honestly am barely getting if and banana flavor so I'm going to mix up another batch of all 3 but up the banana a couple percent. They aren't overly sweet either. I asked HiC and was told that they will basically taste like a nice creamy vape with little to no banana flavor.

I've found FA Banana to be a bit weak myself, you could possibly add some TFA Banana Cream or a couple drops of TFA Ripe Banana for helpers.

Again, speaking from experience it sounds to me like you need to cut your loses/time there and try working with a different banana flavoring.

Fruits of various brands, especially FA's, can be weird like that sometimes. You'll read one of those HIC (or another high reply recipe) threads where a bunch of people are praising what a "juicy delight" recipe X is, mix it up yourself...and then wonder where the actual fruit taste is. For example, FA's more common strawberry based recipes apply to the same principle. I love FA's Fuji Apple, so when i see it in a recipe i know it will generally work for me. Like FA's banana i get jack shit for taste out of the FA's stawberry though, and trying to up the % to get there simply doesn't work. It's just not strong enough to tickle my taste buds, and if you search around you'll find i'm not alone in thinking that. So i have to sub it with a different brand i can actually taste (such as TFA's Strawberry Ripe or Inawera Shisha).

There is a reason you don't find as many universally praised Banana based recipes being posted around once people pass the "beginner" stage of their DIY mixing imo, and it's not that a lot of people don't like the idea of a good banana vape. Most of the better known and more commonly used brands of that flavoring simply aren't very great or workable friendly in a solid vape.

If you are going to come up with something great that works for *you*, sometimes searching outside the box and trying one of those no review flavors over on BCV is the only way to do it.
