IGN has your first look at the trailer for Barbarians, an upcoming thriller from IFC Midnight starring Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon. The trailer – which you can watch via the player above or the embed below – presents a darkly comic view of a dinner party gone very, very wrong.
Written and directed by Charles Dorfman, Barbarians opens in theaters and On Demand on April 1, 2022.
The film’s official synopsis reveals that Barbarians is set over twenty-four hours and “sees a dinner party take a nightmarish turn when the doorbell rings.”
“As manners give way to madness, an evening of celebration descends into a dark night of terror; and a civilized dinner party turns out to be anything but.”
In addition to Iwan Rheon, Barbarians also stars Catalina Sandino Moreno (FROM), Tom Cullen (Knightfall), and Inès Spiridonov (Seuls).
