I am looking at getting into the TC market, and i have questions from the experienced ones who lurk in these parts. I have done fair amounts of research, but i can't find a side by side experience comparison of these two mods. I know that the IPV 4s has a newer chip, more features, and better support. However, I don't hear many bad things about Tesla at all. Also, the Tesla is cheaper. But is cheaper better in this case? I plan to pair this device with a uwell crown, and want the best experience my budget can handle.

So I don't have either of those mods, so take this with a grain of salt. I would suggest the IPV 4s because they do have the newer chip. The crown should be fantastic on almost any TC mod, so I don't think that is a big concern.

Gearbest is offering a sale. 120 tesla is $10 cheaper than IPV 4S. I don't want the 200 because I will never use that power level, so it doesn't seem worth the extra cash unless its just amazing in some fashion I am unaware of. The IPV 4 is just at the threshold of what I want to spend. If someone comes and gives me a breakdown for another device, I may pay a bit more, but I just don't have too much more of a budget, especially since the Crown will be purchased at the same time. I would like a crown because i have heard they are one the best rta's on the market for "best bang for your buck", especially when it comes to temp control. Thank you both

Looks like the ipv4s is less than the Tesla, you just have to check them often, this site sells out as fast as they get them in because of their low prices.

I lucked out, got both the SS and Black when they first showed them, 16.45 and 18.45.

Nope, it's in stock now, and the price when added to the cart is definitely $32 for black and $30 for SS.
