Can I run a 40A batt with a 35A batt in the IPV4 safely?
Just have these oddball batts sitting on the shelf unused..

Batteries in multi battery mods need to be the same manufacturer, model, age, and # of charge cycles. They need to be "married" i.e. used together all the time. You can move them around in different multi battery mods, just so long as they are used together and charged together.

There is no such thing as a 35 or 40 amp 18650 battery. The highest powered batteries are the LG HB2,4, or 6 and the Sony VTC3 at 30A continuous discharge rate. Since I value my house, face, and hands I only use LG, Samsung, or Sony batteries. Anything else is a re-wrap with inflated specs that you actually pay more for than the genuine.

Yes, in that it is not totally UN-safe to mix batteries. You will get the results of the weakest battery.......therefore NOT ADVISED. So as always you are only a safe as your crappiest component.

Use good batteries, in a multi battery mod, use monogamously married sets, avoid building and running at the limits, to reduce need, to worry about the illusion of SAFETY.

Well since 40A batteries do not exist and 35A batteries also do not exist, I'm going to say, FUCK NO, you can't vape them safely
