Hi there. Which builds do you guys think is the best for the OBS Crius RTA?
I'm looking for a build that's excellent for flavor. The build I have is a 26g 6 wrap dual coil. It's 'nice' but would like to see something better.

Last week I put in 28g/32g dual Claptons at 2mm, six spaced wraps. Really nice flavor but the ramp up is a bit slow for me. Next build I'll wrap my Claptons with 34 or 36g..

I'm using a 26g 6 wrap dual coil and the flavor isn't bad but I expect something better.

Maybe someone who knows about airflow and heat flux can chip in with some advice on what builds to go for.

I'vr tried quite a few different builds in my 2 Crii. My go-to is 24 awg Titanium, 7 spaced wraps, 2.5mm.

These were my favorite builds in the Crius...
2 x 28KA1/40N80 Fused Claptons, if I wasnt using these I used 26KA1 Parallels 5 Wraps

Nice builds, I was thinking of going that route but decided not to because fused claptons drink juice. I'll try out the parallel coil.

What do you think of a 3 strand(parallel) 32g dual coil?
Try 28g, 32 would be springy and a nightmare to use as a wire for building...

Thanks for the tip I see what you mean, I use to use 32g before and almost always had to torch it and then also it was quite springy

Make sure to straighten the 28g first...if you have a drill. Then wrap the wires one by one following the first wrap, this is the easiest way to make those types of coils. If you have a thicker wire say 26g then do 6 wraps of 26g and then do 5 wraps of 28g. Keep the 28g within the wraps of the 26g only. This is staged heating for faster ramp up...Dual Coils with 3mm ID but something like this:

Thanks for the tip, usually I used to straighten and hold all the leads and wrap all at once. Your way seems much more easier.
