What manufacturer makes the best erlkonigan clone? I am trying to decide on a new tank and this one seems to be nice. I have it narrowed down to the Erlkonigan clone or a kayfun v4 clone. I am also open to any more suggestions. The tanks I already own are:

Kayfun lite v2
Taifun gt
Kayfun nano
Orchid v4 - not a huge fan.
Kanger subtank.

"Best" is rather relative.

I bought the cheapest one they had at FT (the "value" version) and perhaps I got lucky, but it's been great.
No leaks, holds a ton of juice, easy filling from the top, no worries. :)

I do kinda wish I'd gotten the one with the DT adapter though. Not a biggie.

As long as the QC and machining of the atty is adequate, it's up to the person to build and wick it right in order to have a quality vape. IMHO.

If ya need some help with your Orchid, we have a nice thread for modding it that can really be beneficial: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/orchid-modification-thread.20819/unread

I don't know who makes if for them but I purchased the Erlkonigen from Angelcigs a week ago. As others stated super light, nice build quality. Just washed it up in soapy water threw a build on it 1.4ohm coil and used organic cotton. The flavor on this is intense, for me anyway. A rich warm flavor even on mild flavor/tasting ejuice. Top fill works well, only thing is it is a proprietary drip tip that screws down to keep the top fill cap from moving from open/close. Some in reviews had trouble wicking, haven't experienced that. I don't run it down the sides as some do, just lay a thick roll of wick through the coil and juice them up before closing it up to fill and no problem. For the price it seems like a steal. Pmma tank wish I could get a glass or Pyrex to replace it. The flavor on this does it for me. I have three Kayfun lite clones and a EHpro Kayfun lite+ V2 dual air flow control. The best flavor comes from the new Erl.

What's the airflow like on these Erl clones? I have an Ehpro Billow that draws like a restricted RDA... For an example, I have a Mephisto RDA, and the Billow draws like having one air slot wide open and the other closed, like you would do on a single coil build. The Orchid V4 is considerably more restricted.

Mine are on the tighter side. Lke a airy kayfun.

As another stated, like an airy Kayfun lite. There is an air flow control ring on the underside that adjusts it. I take the threaded ring out completely and it gets a little more, it doesn't leak so you can just leave the ring out. I like it wide open. Another thing the Erl holds close to 4/5 mls of juice I could be off a bit but vaping it never seems to end...lol. And even with it full it is so light that you don't even know you have an atty on your mod.

I have the gift box version from FT and it moves considerably more air than any of my kayfun's do.

Yup, I got the same version, it's more flavorful and airy compare to the kayfun... I can suggest aqua v2 from FT... I ordered aqua and a mini ELK for my up coming 30 watts eleaf... Im done with kayfuns!!

I just tossed the mini kit in the last order. $2.52 (or something like that) for a tank and chimney, hard to beat. Looks a little more balanced on the Istick and still holds 3ml or so.
