Hello I finally got a new job and it's looking like I will be able to afford a new mod! I've been looking pretty hard at the wismec rd 200. I would really like to have a dna 200 mod and would like to know everyone's opinion on a reasonable priced one. What's the best for the money? What batteries will I need to run it? Thanks for any help!

Wismec is the only dna200 with 3 18650s all the others run on lipo packs. Hcigar and boxer both have dna133 mods, it's the same board but takes 2 18650s and tops out at 133w.
I don't on any of the ones mentioned so I can't have an opinion of the mods themselves. I do have a pair of vapor shark dna200s that I love for form factor, but the Wismec taking the 18650s is really top of the mark right now.

How do the lipos work? Do you take it out to charge it? What are you supposed to vape on while it's charging? Are you supposed to buy another battery and use it while the other is charging? Is the connection all the same?

You van get a Hcigar VT200 from VapeNW for just under $120 shipped (there in the USA). It comes with a 3s Lipo pack and charges via a USB cord. It's also available from Ecig.com for about the same price, here's a link.. I'm vaping on one right now. It's been a great mod.

PS I also got the DNA200 Reuleaux for $113 and change from them but I believe they are currently sold out. They usually restock pretty fast, here's the link.

Cheers,
Steve

Lipo packs are like what is in your cell phone or am RC car. You could have a backup if you wanted but it's very impractical. Usually you just vape on it while charging. That was an advantage for me with the one I got. It has a 2a charger so it charges for, empty to full in 30 minutes. With the lipos if you have one that can run all day you can just chart it while you sleep. @Wingsfan0310 has the Wismec and can give you more insight
The Wismec uses regular old 18650 batteries though.
