I'm new to coiling/wicking but I need some help finding a good top fill tank that allows me to build some cloud chasing coils. I prefer .3 - .5 ohms.

boreas, griffin 25, supreme are probably the popular 3 on here
there are the bottom style tank ones too like the avacado 24 , limitless plus, or azeroth
or most tanks that come with prebuilt coils have an RBA deck like the TFV8 so that gives you options

Sweet, looks like quite a few choices there. Thank you, I'm just so new to coiling and rbas lol.

Stick with a Velocity style deck with plenty of room for a first RTA. That's one of the reasons I recommended the Boreas. That and it has great flavor and really chucks the clouds if you want.

Ok I'll definitely check that one out. It sounds ideal. :)

The Boreas is my favorite tank. The only tricky part is the refill leak issue but there is plenty of help here on that. Easy to wick.

I have two in my regular rotation only time it's ever leaked was due to bad wicking. Just flip the the Tank, close the AFC, fill it, open one hole to fill the deck, then open it up and Vape.

Some of these flavors I could drink... Haha jk.

These are great tips, thanks so much guys. I've got the boreas on my next order. I'm currently working with a mini plus rba for my subox mini tanks. One is a bottom fill and the other is a top. Just got my coil master kit v2 in the mail today....I've got dual coiling on my mind but this little deck is made for single coils. So I open it and I'm sitting there thinking whoa what is that for...and this? I've got alot to learn but youtube helps with that too.

I think I need to spend like 2 weeks learning how to do a single 26 ga wrap and then save the 24 for bigger builds down the road. I'm checking out the rx200s because they look sweet!

I'll jump on the Boreas bandwagon too, but don't forget it's little sister, Alleria. I have both tanks and the best way for me to describe them is: Boreas-huge clouds and great flavor, Alleria -super flavor with great clouds. The new Petri rta is also great flavor, great clouds but the authentic is a bit pricey, I haven't tried any of the clones yet.
Keep in mind, the coils don't have to be pretty, just work properly since you're the only one seeing them, unless you're using the Alleria. Start with simple coils, get accustomed to the process, then work your way to more complex builds.

You might consider SS wire in various gauges as well, it has the added benefit that it can be used in both power mode and TC. As for mods, ask 5 people and get 15 opinions. Personally, I prefer the HohmTech G2- the fugly as sin, TC every type of wire, never let me down mod along with the Slice (same company). As a comparison, I vape my Alleria (0.13 ohms) on the G2 at 58w, 400 degree F in TC mode. Same tank on the Vapor Shark VF DNA 133 needs 66w and 460 degF to yield a comparable vape. Considering that I could buy 2 (or even 3 on sale) G2 mods for the price of one VF DNA133, you decide.

I'm not an RTA guy, I much prefer RDA's but from my limited experience I would say the Griffin. It's easy to build, inexpensive and gets decent flavor. I've never had it leak or dry hit on me.

@BrewBear thank you for the helpful info. To me the hohm wrecker is gorgeous lol. I tend to blow too much dough on my vape gear and liquids but it's kindof a hobby too. I'll check these out and compare for sure.

@skt239, I would get into dripping but I don't know the first thing about it but it seems compatable with my kbox mini. Heard great things about the griffin and also the tfv8.
