Can't decide whether I want stainless or a colour. The stainless is an attractive option because, well, stainless. You pretty much know what you're getting. But it's kind of boring. The coloured ones are aluminium, and, if some juices can cause some tank materials to crack, then how might some of them interact with aluminium? Never mind who knows what they're using to coat those things.

Yeah you're right. It is boring, and monotonous. I've been using same setup for over a week. Re-wicked and dry burned, a couple of times already. Going to do it again later today. It's the only excitement I have. It's sad, and this SS is so predictable. No surprises here.
I'm kind of thinking about buying it directly from Synthicloud so I can get this one:
I didn't mean the RDA, itself, was boring, but that the appearance of the device, in stainless, was kind of "meh," in my view. It's perfectly acceptable. It just doesn't rock me.

I wondered about that. There's one on VaporDNA's site, and I've seen elsewhere, described as "red," that actually looks hot pink or magenta. Ok, then: Never mind. Maybe I'll just go with boring old SS

See, all the other colors look like they should. The blue and the green both really look nice in person. The red is the only one I would avoid. *Hmph* Weird. Synthicloud shows that colour, which they call "garnet," which would indeed be a dark red, and one they call "pink," which indeed appears to be pink. But all the vendor sites show a colour they call "red," which looks to be about halfway between the two.
I think I'll just stick with basic black or with the stainless. And I think I'll wait and save until VaporDNA has the iPV D5 in stock and I have the money for both that and the Aeolus Lite, get them both at the same time, with the aforementioned discount, and save on the shipping. Vape funds are limited, so I need to take advantage of every savings I can get
The AL is my most recent RDA acquisition. I don't have many. Only seven plus a JayBo Comp Cap. Every three or four days I'd change it up, switch to something else, but since getting this Aeolus lite, I don't know. Maybe complacency is setting in. I've been using this one on the same mod since I received it. Almost three weeks. Re-wick, dry burn and back with the same setup. It's really very nice. I'm trying now to take the 'collection' down to just four. I have three RDA's that just won't sell, but I'll find a way to jettison them. There are definitely some great one's that I'll probably never own but my keepers will be this AL, the Vector, an authentic Velocity and (thanks to f1r3b1rd) a Steamboat. Looking for new homes for a Veritas clone, a Vulcan and an Archon. Really do like the last two, but don't love 'em enough to keep 'em. Have three mods, all different, but all I'm using these days is an LE80. For the price (despite the low price) I think it's the coolest mod on the planet but only if you don't need TC. If $ were no object; I'd throw everything out and get a Scottsmod (or two).
