Hello everyone im new here been vaping for 7 months I have become an intermediate coil builder. So back in November I pre-ordered the big baby beast and got it in December 2 but couldn't use it on the mod i had so I pre-ordered the smok treebox plus 220watt and got that at the end of December. So by this point I'm dieing to hit that big baby beast. Got everything ready to go set the treebox plus at 50 watts mind you the coil has had a full tank of juice for about 3 weeks just waiting for me. So with the 4x coil at 50 watts I go to take my first hit and the coil instantly fried and I just about died. Dropped the watts to 30 but it was to late for the coil it was toast. Luckily I bought a box of 4x coils at the same time so primed a new one let it sit for about 10min dropped to 25watts first couple hits where ok not good clouds or flavor and then the burnt hits start could not get anything good out of it. So I tried another new coil at 15 watts less cloud less flavor up to 20 watts and it's burnt again. Onto the T6 coil had a winner for a day gradually going from 20 watts to 40 and back down to 30 due to burnt hits. And after a day it went to garbage. So you sick of reading this yet well there's more. After 4 pre-builts shitting the bed in about a week and a half yes I tried to deal with the flavor. So went to the rba head now we are talking after wicking the coils that came with it i am in heaven running at 60 watts this goes for about 5 or 6 tanks. Now I'm getting no atomizer, low atomizer, high atomizer, or its just asking me if it's a new or old coil I get a hit may be 2 and it just starts freaking out on me before it will give me another hit. I have tried my tfv4 mini on my treebox plus with no problems I also use my tsunami 24 with dual dragon skin coils at .17ohms it's great if all my juice didn't leak out the bottom feed airflow holes messy messy messy and also an old 3 post velocity works just fine on my treebox plus which by the way is amazing I love the look and feel of this mod i recommend it to anyone that wants a power station for a mod. So is anyone else have these issues with there POS Big baby beast. Sorry this was so long I've never done a forum before.

Welcome to VU Zombie13. I have the big baby beast and have used a couple of the included coils, but prefer the RBA.
The only "issue" that I've had with this is the wicking method / amount used in the RBA itself.

As for all your coil troubles? wow, that just doesn't sound right at all. All of those coils are rated at 40+ watts. I've been running my little Q4 at 70+ watts without an issue. Are you 100% sure they are authentic?

Welcome to VU and sorry to hear about your big baby experience. I have the full size TFV8 and it performs nicely. I am going to get the Big Baby Beast soon and I hope to have a different experience. I will probably use the RBA instead of the premade coils.

Thank you for the warm welcome and yes that was a lot of verbal diarrhea sorry bout that. So yes everything is authentic I've watched every review I could find and it's like they where all paid off. Remember this is all subjective idk how many times I've heard that. Everything that came with it had all the cards and literature all the spare parts and all from the same supplier is anyone even making a clone of this yet and like I said it was a pre order and they hadn't even hit the market yet. And the supplier was efun

Having good luck with the T8 coils, also tried Q2, meh.

A few things with these. Its not like an old Herakles where you can take 10 second hits and get the coil to last 3 weeks. Also, try to keep juice level above the ports on the side of the coils, but not quite completely full.

Have you tried different juices? The T8 absolutely hates my orange creamsicle juice. Makes them do some of the things you described. Other than that, the Q2s, X4s, and other T8s have performed well. I've been using one T8 for over 5 weeks with a vanilla mint juice. Lil bastard just won't quit, lol.

30PG/70VG, but I add VG to get it to 15/85. I do it with all my 30/70 juices. I'm thinking it's just something in the flavoring. Works fine with the Q2s, X4s, and fused claptons on the rba.

Yes I have tried multiple makes of juice I can't run anything less than 30pg/70vg it's to harsh for me i also run 3mg nic. As far as tank fullness goes I can't even get to the wicking ports before I have to change the nasty burnt coil on the first tank. I just had to resort back to my tfv4 mini which had never given me any probs with all the same juices. I've gone through 6 x4 coils and 1 T6 coil since 12/22/16 so that's 7 coils in 22days plus my rba isn't reading so cant even use that and I have tried multiple smaller than the ones that came pre-installed for fear of touching the inside of the cap . I think I just got a lemon it's the only thing I can think of. I truly hate being this guy I would much rather use this sight for info gathering than a rant. I'm just so fed up with this thing I have contacted smok and efun. Efun had me send them a video of the issue which I thought was going to be hard and take forever but the device failed so well and I didn't even need to talk so it was super easy. As far as efun.top goes if you can stand the wait not a bad Chinese supplier

I got my first Alien/BB kit from efun. The paint was total shit. I left a good review on their site, and mentioned the bad paint. Never heard a word from them, but 10 days or so later I received a whole new mod/tank kit from them. I don't know if that's their common practice or not, but somebody was on point in CustServ that day. I would use them again.

Oh i know im not saying you would that is just my mind set. There all out to get you the government, all the alphabet soup organizations, the aliens with there anal probes it is nothing against you in anyway shape or form. I was more hoping for a laugh than anything. Depending on how efun handles this will determine the fate of this pore unfortunate soul. I like to find out how things tick and I have a 75% fix rate on things I have never played with before and if all else fails hehehehehehehehe then the real fun starts with me nothing just ends up in the trash

I haven't seen that vid but tryed the same thing but while it was on my box mod maybe I'll give it a shot with it off and try again my only thing about that is if that pin floats around like that it just going to keep happening but it only does it with the rba head not the pre-builts but I will still give it a try thanks for the info

So tried it and it still didn't help my treebox plus even told me not to abuse the protections lol so I have a lemon big baby
