I have had my v3 a week or so and overall it's good except only can take a sec or 2 hit cause it feels like a burnt hit but it's not lol. Cotton is not getting burnt and plenty of juice is going through so not really sure what the deal is and using stock coils that came with

As with any new Atty, have you cleaned it properly? Machine oil residue can cause a nasty taste. Personally, I don't use stock coils, but rather build my own coils, due to not knowing, what the coils material actually is made of.

Everything is clean and juice taste good but I just getting a strong burn after a few second hit and it's same juice I have in other tanks I have so it's not the juice

It's only 40 watts and any lower takes time for coils to heat

A higher gauge (thinner) wire can help with that problem. So, when you use a 24g wire, use a 26g wire instead, adjusting the wraps accordingly.

The coils that came with should work fine though.... It's not a cheap tank and my billow V2 works perfect with stock coils

You may have too much cotton preventing it from wicking properly. The cotton should have some resistance while moving back and forth but not so tight you can't move it.

I always have to think of an eJuice I used to buy (Vanilla Dream). It couldn't be vaped over 25W, due to tasting burned/toasted above. Obviously, that eJuice didn't work in sub ohm tanks. Therefore, I would try a different eJuice in the Billow V3. Ideally a juice that's clearer and less sweet.
In addition, the stock coils of the Billow V3 might differ from the V2's.

Yeah coils are alot bigger is all and I've tried several different juices and I'll try the re wicking first and go from there..... Thx

Well now it seems after taking a puff, coils still sizzle and can't take long hits

The sizzle is normal. It has to do with the heat capacity of your coil, e. g. a 22g coil, or Clapton coil will take longer to heat up, and cool down as well. If you want to stop the sizzling, you'd have to put a different build in your Billow, utilizing a coil build that has a lower heat capacity.
Regarding the lack of long hits, usually has to do with your wicking. Most likely too much wicking material. However, you might need a different coil build to begin with, due to the sizzling.

I have ss316l 26g 8 or 9 wrap 0.28ohm......same build in my billow V2 and running that at 35 watts to 40 watts and no issues so thats what I'm confused and running the v3 at 22watts and just bumped up to 25

First, you can't compare the Billow V2 to the Billow V3. It's like comparing Apples to Oranges. The Billow V3 obviously differs, otherwise it wouldn't be a V3. It is possible that the heat of the coil isn't "absorbed" by the atomizer as good.

What is the ID (inner diameter) of your coil(s)? Maybe, you can put a coil build in it with a larger ID, if the chamber allows for it, in order to avoid the wicking problem.

Ok and how many wraps to make it 0.5 ohm? Seems like I never get that right lol

14 wraps sounds about right. However, the coil might be too wide, in order to fit into the atty. You have two options, use a lower resistance 0.3-0.4 Ohm, or use a 28 gauge wire.

It would fit but can do a lower ohm so it's not so cramped in there

What cotton are you using? I used KGD (Japanese cotton), till recently. I bought a pack of Cotton Bacon V2, to see what the hipe is all about. I've been using it in a couple of my RDAs for a week now. I'm impressed! :inlove: Money well spent! I'll switch all my wicking to it sooner or later.
