Black Kanger Mini...... What the hell

recently bought a Black Kanger Mini to go on a Black Wismec Presa, perfect combo, but damn if the paint is not coming off even before I have vaped one tank of juice. Anyone else had this happe and omg, the painted part inside is peeling too, I cannot believe KT would put this crap out

Yeah it is kind of common. But it should not be that extreme.

That's why I don't buy colored Atomizers. The only thing more resilient is powder coated. However, who knows what's in those colors. If coloring at all, look into heat coloring on stainless steel, e.g. rainbow colors.

BTW: I also use a Subtank Mini with a Wismec Presa 40 watt and I love the combo.

my subox kit was authentic and both my mod and tank are losing finish at the edges. I'm not really concerned as I've been keeping it in my pocket occasionally so its expected.

Been off for a few days... Would have responded back sooner...I bought this from AngelCigs, yeah they offered me $2.00 in Angel Ciggy Credits LMAO.... OMG you thought that was bad, it actually got worse, and even to the point it clogged the coil... I will never buy one of these again...

China does whatever they want. Faking every detail lets shitty companies and assholes on eBay pass this kinda crap off as authentic. I use Chinese vendors for buying clones only. Authentic gear purchases are made through known, trusted, US vendors. I buy zero vape stuff from third party sites like eBay and amazon as they're full of counterfeit items. My daughter bought an otterbox phone case off amazon that was being stocked in an amazon wearhouse. The packaging was perfect. The case was fake. Buyer beware.

I agree 100% unfortunately. I'm sure the cost of legal action just isn't worth it. But I'm really surprised that they don't at least go after big companies like Amazon for selling something that "ships from and sold by Amazon.com" that isn't advertised as a counterfeit. For the most part I agree with you.

I'd also add that painted clones from China will likely have paint missing before you even get it. My black (genuine) Subtank Mini is going on 4 months now and only has the tiniest paint loss around the very bottom of the tank.

I also love my Subtank Mini clone. The # of mls I've run through it exceeds the mls I've run through the Mini that came with my Subox kit. The only thing that sucked about the clone wars the coils that came with it: they were usable, but only lasted a few days.

I will also buy items from eBay, but with the caveat that the listing says specifically whether the item is a clone; or if genuine will specifically say genuine or authentic. If it turns out that it isn't you probably have better protection as a buyer than if you bought from the same vendor direct.

There are some shady sellers on eBay though, but my experience has been the Chinese (vape gear) and Indian (watches) sellers being the shadiest. Them and just about any of the large US music and book sellers; who list inventory and then take 3 weeks to realize they don't have your item in their book/record/music warehouse/dump, and if they do find it they ship it via a homeless guys backpack and it takes a month to get it (aka USPS media mail).

Totally agree with you all.

I was surprised it was from Angel Cigs though, I have had very very good dealings with them. Most of my Kangertech gear I have bought direct or from other sources, I got a Black Sub-Tank Plus recently and it is great. I have many clones and usually it is with complete knowledge it is a clone, but this was not indicated to be a clone... I have since totally cleaned it free of any paint and back to steel...

As for the Chinese, they really just do what they want, we cannot fight them in our courts, and it is hell in theirs, they know it, why we kiss their ass so much, I do not know. As for some of the products, hell, I have found quite a few items that are by one MFG, they they may not sell direct, but what they do over in China is sub-contract a hell of a lot of the MGF. to other companies to fulfill demand, I have found them on Alibaba, Aliexpress and a few others, and have secured several single item purchases this way.

Yea "styled" usually means clone. Interesting that the top cap has the Kangertech logo on it tho. Does the air adjust have anything written on the bottom. It should say" SUBTANK™ Mini" and "Designed and Manufactured by Kanger"

It says genuine? That's strange, I had one and it was powder coating. While the picture you are showing, appears to be a semi gloss paint.

There is a product I use,it's called gun-koat/KG coatings that's impervious to wear and anything thrown at it.it is a bake on product.I use it on many things like gun parts,tools etc.gonna do up a bunch of my new tanks.only sand blasting will take it off once cured
