Black Panther has set yet another major box office milestone, six months after its initial release.
Per Box Office Mojo, the MCU movie has now become the third film ever to cross $700 million in the US theater market. Black Panther now only trails behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($936 million) and Avatar ($760 million).
Black Panther has also grossed roughly $646 million internationally, making for an estimated $1.346 billion global box office total. THR reports Disney and Marvel slightly increased the movie's theater count so it'd successfully achieve the domestic record.
