SC-VZ Blackberry 2%
CAP Vanilla Custard v2 1% (or v1)
FW Madagascar Vanilla 1%
TFA Sweet Cream 1%

Wasn't quite right when vaped fresh.
This is another 2 week steeper (Custard).

You could sub the Blackberry with FW or FE, but not FA.
Can also sub CAP VC with TFA Cheesecake Graham(3%) or CAP NY Cheesecake(2%)
And sub FW Madagascar with FA Vanilla Classic or your favorite Vanilla.
CAP Sweet Cream can also replace the TFA.

Other fruits could probably be used in here also.

I ended up getting my stuff back out to mix someone's recipe, and your Cake Batter cookie, too, with subs, of course, til I get my own proper flavors. I was about to cuss you out, because I just put it all away, again. Then I saw "not FA", so I won't cuss you. When I get my other order large enough, I plan on getting the FE.

Very nice, Heabob! I like how you are using the custard at low %…I've tried it at higher %'s and wasn't my thing, but playing low with it is a great idea!

Thanks, I discovered I can get mostly the same flavor profile using 1-2% instead of the typical 8-12%.
CAP Cake Batter & CAP NY Cheesecake are kind-of the same way.

This sounds good! I also like that you used so little Van. Custard. The V2 is weird for me higher.

Probably one of the only Strawberry flavors I don't have, I tend to not like the Strawberry, Cherry, and Raspberry mostly.
Taste is fine, but vape is strange, just think I need to use way less of these flavors.

But 2% should be a good starting point for most fruits, but Blueberry might need a bit more.

Heabob, I was wanting to make this after I get my Bull City vape mail, but I need to ask you, can I sub the 2 week steeping with a 4 hour 150-160 degree crock pot steep? Would I get the same results, or at least close to it?....o_O

To be honest I really don't know, but it may only need 2 hours because of the low amount of Custard.
Probably close though, please keep us posted...

Could you use CAP or TFA or LA Blackberry?

Thanks

Maybe CAP, but I haven't tried that one yet.

VZ-SC is the best so far.
(FE) Flavor Express from ECX is next (very close to the above, if not the same, and cheaper than VZ-SC)
Then Hangsen
And FW

Question.
Why is it that you say you can't use FA Blackberry here? While I don't use much BB to speak of generally, I have always used FA (just having to be careful to keep it around 1.5% or so). Why would you recommend not to use it in this one?
I have the CAP version on my next wishlist, but haven't placed the order yet. FE is also available but I haven't tried it either. I didn't care for FW's.

FA Blackberry & Bilberry both tasted and smelled like grannies perfume to me.
Tried using less, steeping longer, venting, etc.
Thought it may have been a bad batch, but 2 different flavors purchased at 2 different places & times.
The only 2 FA flavors I've ever had that were too nasty to use.
A few I just don't care for but not because of the perfume effect.
But many others use them without issues.
So if you're in that group you should try it.

FE is a little bit better than CAP IMO.
Very close, if not identical, to VZ-SC Blackberry.

Boy this is an oldie, and today I'd probably make a few changes.
Have since lowered the VZ-SC/FE Blackberry to 1.5-1.6% in many others recipes.
Haven't used VC v2 in quite some time, just using V1 now.
And I'd probably be using INW Shisha Vanilla instead of FW nowadays.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I know about the perfuminess(?) of the FA & if I use much more than 1.5% it takes a while to go away.
I'd say it's one of the most concentrated FA flavors I have.
I only use V1 with my Cap Vanilla Custard, so no problem there & I didn't even notice your Madagascar was from FW. I use the FA there, as well. I may try this using what I have still though.
Thanks again!

I haven't cracked open the Hiliq Blueberry yet. You think it would work with this recipe ? Thanks.

I'd say yes, but not using 2% of course as it's much stronger.
0.5-1% is a better starting point for that one IMO.
It is a slightly different Blueberry taste tho.
Might have to try it myself one of these days:D.
