Blizzard Entertainment has released the official schedule for BlizzCon 2018, and it looks like some big Diablo announcements could be coming our way.
On the official BlizzCon 2018 schedule, Diablo: What’s Next is slotted to be the first panel to take place on the main “Mythic” stage starting Friday, Nov. 2 at 12:30 PT. The description of the panel reads: "Join the Diablo team as they discuss of what's in store for the heroes of Sanctuary.” Interestingly, this Diablo panel will be followed by What’s Next panels for Overwatch, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm.
As noted by Polygon, this first "What’s Next” panel has historically expanded upon major announcements that happen just prior to the panel during BlizzCon’s opening ceremony keynote. Last year, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth was announced during the opening ceremony and was the focus of a deep dive during the What’s Next panel. Similarly in 2016, Hearthstone’s Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion was explored during this important panel as well.
