What's your goal? What kind of wattage do you usually vape? RDA or Tank?I have a basic understanding of Mechanical mods after much research....now I need to decide on which one to get. What would you guys/gals recommend? Thanks in advance for replies!

I use my Noisy Cricket and Tres Equis all the time, but they might not necessarily be suited to your preferences.
I am open to either!Box or tube?
Check out a parallel box like the Castigator, Dos Equis or even Tres Equis. Build at .11-.16Ω on your RDAs and .16-.2Ω on your tanks and you should be pretty close to your goal.I usually use tanks but have learned RDA's now. Tanks I vape at 60-80w. RDA's around 90-130w. Goal is more clouds!
The Lucifer box mod can be used as either a parallel, or series mod. It would be a safer alternative to a hybrid box mod, due to an adjustable center pin. I bought a clone from FT, and it's working great.
https://m.fasttech.com/p/3831500 It was pre-configured as a series mod.@Neunerball, which one did you get on FT?

Have you tried converting to Parallel? I've been told it's a PITA. I have one on the way for series, but curious about it's use in parallel (I'll have 2 tres equis once this shipment comes in so I doubt I'll need itThe Lucifer box mod can be used as either a parallel, or series mod. definitely stay away from copper and brass because it constantly needs to be maintained
No, I've been using it in series only so far.Have you tried converting to Parallel? I've been told it's a PITA. I have one on the way for series, but curious about it's use in parallel (I'll have 2 tres equis once this shipment comes in so I doubt I'll need itbut good to have an option).
Cool, yeah mine just showed up, took it apart, put it back together, autofireNo, I've been using it in series only so far.
I hear you! I read the reviews on FT. There were complaints regarding the switch. However, I thought, due to being a mech mod, it should be possible to get it working.Cool, yeah mine just showed up, took it apart, put it back together, autofire. Took it back apart tweaked, put it back together, no firing, one more time, and now it's working well. Just need to adjust that copper strip to be placed correctly. Anyways, it's pretty nice, just as expected needed a little love like clones often do.
Naw bought it for the series setup, I was just curious about it when I asked earlier. I got a couple Tres Equis, I don't need any more parallelsI hear you! I read the reviews on FT. Re. the "...Just need to adjust that copper strip...". Are you utilizing it in parallel configuration, having the issue you mentioned?
Make sure to put your batteries in then tighten them down in rotation, not overly screwing any of them in, just get it snug they don't need to be pressed in there as hard as possible. If you overtighten you may cause that top connection plate to tilt breaking connection with one of the batteries and losing the triple parallel. That and always put the atomizer on first, same reason. Then just, it might be worth taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning initially, take it from dull connections to nice and shiny and then it works amazingly. Really not too much to this mod.Any thoughts or advise on the Tres Equis? Mine is languishing in Chicago the past couple days but expect it here soon.
If you're not at least maintaining the threading and internal components, you're doing it wrong. All mechs require maintenance. If you're truly not performing any maintenance on even a single mech you're using, you're unfit to offer any advice to anyone concerning that type of gear.I would say occasionally, if you want a shiny mod. I like the antiqued patina look so for me there is no maintenance.
