Bobcat Goldthwait has once again offered his support for James Gunn while appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Gunn was fired by Disney as director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after a series of older offensive tweets from the filmmaker recently surfaced. Shortly after the firing, Goldthwait wrote an open letter on Instagram asking Disney to remove his voice from an upcoming theme park attraction as a protest against the firing.
During his late show appearance (via YouTube), Goldthwait further explained why he's on Gunn's side, saying the filmmaker shouldn't be punished for something he's said and apologized for, years ago.
