Boreas colored glass?

Anyone know where to get the colored glass tanks for the boreas?

To my knowledge, Roxy said they wouldn't start making colored Boreas glasses until sales increased to warrant it, which I believe they have since the dude from Subtank Supply just told me he got 1,000 units in. I've seen people who glaze glasses themself, but as far as I know the Supreme is the only one with the colored glasses. Not sure if they're cross-compatible, that may be how they have them unless you're confusing the two tanks in the videos. Roxy didn't even know the new Boreas tanks had top cap notches for easier grip until she saw people with them, so I don't think Augvape is keeping her up to speed anymore unfortunately.

I have both the Supreme and Boreas they are both full right now but when I get them empty I can test it but my calipers are telling me the Supreme glass is 24mm wide and the boreas glass is 25mm

Someone in the Boreas thread glazed his glass section over to a red color himself, though I'm by no means an expert on glass work or painting/glazing/coating. I'd like to see colored glasses to, a blue glass on a black Boreas would look the drop dead gorgeous on my Efusion Duo DNA200 along with my blue and gold stab wood drip tip.

He just had a yellow colored juice in his Boreas, making the glass appear tinted.

No I'm just an idiot and thought the blue one was the boreas even though I own both tanks lol

well....

That was done with a special paint for glass. supposed to be crystal clear when fully dried, but I didnt like how it came out so i removed it. I ordered some translucent window film and am going to redo it with that. as far as buying colored glass... Havent seen anything.

Hopefully Augvape will let me know if/when colored glass will be available.

If you want to spend the money, Spectrum or ibtanked could probably make it for you if you send precise measurements. Someone had Spectrum make me colored glass for the Bachelor. What a fantastic gift, and surprise!

I got the film from www.decorativefilm.com. for 3 bucks you can select 5 different samples. that red is the light red. the dark red was to dark to see juice level through. the sizes of samples varied, so it seems the samples are just extra cut off edges of other orders, but they were plenty big enough to wrap a couple tanks at a minimum.

How is the film holding up for you...Is the red you have stock number 032. Just trying to figure out what exactly you have. I see a poly vinyl, transparent vinyl also. Big site.

I pulled the red off as i was having a hell of a time seeing my juice level through it. But the blue is still on and rocking. Cant remember the item number, but I used the transparent vinyl.

Thanks man, I just ordered 5 samples for free. Just 2.95 for shipping. Just hope I ordered the right ones. I ordered the transparent vinyl film. Is that what you got??
