Boreas TC build

I was considering doing a TC build on my new Boreas RTA. I got it a few days ago (I couldn't resist the $15 price tag) and so far I have been using alien coils at about 75 watts in power mode. But I like TC vaping, so I want to try it on this atty.

I was thinking of using twisted 26 AWG 316L coils at around .2 ohm for the build and setting my max power somewhere between 50 and 75 watts.

So: does anyone here use this tank in TC mode? Will it work? Should I use the 2mm juice hole deck? Any tips, tricks, hints, no-nos? Any comments would be appreciated

I do a ss316l 24g spaced 10 wrap. I also use a spaced 6 wrap 24/34k. Both are on g2 or slice.

Edit: I use the larger deck but I've used the smaller most and just started with the larger. They both work well. I use about 45 watts and 410 to 440 degrees on those two mods.

3 ID minimum on that deck I would say also go for the one with the smaller juice holes can't see you will need the other one for TC

And try what joey said but could also run some SS316L fused claptons in it see how that goes just space the coils out whatever you go with better for TC that way

I typically use 2x 26/38

I have 2 boreas in rotation with 0.15 and 0.16 ohm SS (24/36 clapton 7 wraps spaced) builds, 135 - 140 watts and 450 - 470 F. Both are 3mm builds with the 2.5mm juice hole decks wicked with rayon on rx200s's. I love em. It is the only tank/topper I have where I actually don't run them with wide open air flow, I dial it back to just 4 holes open.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I'll wrap a coil and build that thing tonight. The nice thing about having two decks is that I won't have to undo the build I am using to try the TC build.
