What coil is in it, and sorry to ask, but did you prime the hell out of it, because thats what the factory coils take. I suggest you close the top and bottom airflow, suck hard throught the driptip and force some juice into the coil, without fireing it.

PM me if that dosn't work.

Don't know what coil your running but for me the triple coil comes to life at about 70w..my sweet spot is 75-80w or so.. I also dumped that double barreled stock drip tip...actually using a big bore custom drip tip from my local vape shop....the TFV4 likes power...and juice! Lol

Should i like switch to maybe the one with tripel coil or the RBA and build a single coil??

Maybe use the RBA for now, I assume you mean the single RBA. Its ok, it works, but it is not brilliant like the factory coils or the other RBAs.

And perhaps consider shopping for a mod with a little more output. The above posters are correct, it needs about 70-80 watts to wake up.

The best soloution I would suggest is the Single Clapton RBA, 40-45 watts drives it nicely, fantastic flavor and lots of vapor. More than the single coil, but not quite as much vapor as the factory coils. The taste is the same or better than the fatory coils, ant the Single Clapton RBA is much cheaper than a new mod.

BTW, to send PMs, just click on the member's name and when the box comes up, select start conversation. Also at the very top right f the screen, there is a flag, and an envelope. Check those often. I'll send you a PM.

Use the RBA section
Single coil 26 g8-10 wraps
25-30 watts output
Know ur mod,battery,tank
And pause and think twice if it's safe!!!
You said the quad coil didn't produce and vapor! That's because it needs more power like what the others said...
You can hit the quad, but you gonna have to ramp that coil up until you get it to light up, and that's not good specially in a tank!!!
Use the .5 that came with the tank and start with THAT Or
Get a higher power mod...

EJ is right, you might want to consider a dual 18650 device for that tank, or at least one that can push 75 watts (VTC Mini, D2/3, etc...)

sorry for not understanding but what is ''26 g8-10 wraps''? And why so low on watt output? why pause if it safe? what could go wrong??

26 g wire, 8-10 wraps, he is suggesting a build for the Single RBA. Check out the coil calculater at steamengine.org. You are using the coil the RBA came with I'm guessing, thats fine too.

On esmokes.se where im buying from i found a kanthal A1 and i can choose from 20-34AWG, what is AWG and should i take 26 there?

I'm new so hi everyone. Don't know if this is common knowledge but the tfv4 can suffer leaking. I've just found out its because of the o rings on the chimney especially if using the rebuildable single or dual coil deck. The answer is to replace the clear o rings with the black slightly thicker ones that come with the service kit in the box. It also uses less juice slightly haha

Get a 26g
Wrap it 8 to 10 times on a 2.5 diameter that should come out to .4
All I'm trying to say is
Know ur vaping stuff
Like the quad coils on the tv4 it says something like 35-150 watts or something not sure but I think SMOK recommends a wattage to fire the quad coil...
Know ohms law
Know wattage
Voltage
Amps
It's all about battery safety..
