Box Mod Blues..

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to vaping in general and recently went a little crazy buying box mods which included a vaporshark DNA40, IPV4, and MVP 3. Of the 3 mods, 2 of them are being sent back for either warranty or refund due to a major defect (the DNA 40 and IPV4). The MVP3 is actually a great device the only downside is it lacks temp control.

With that being said, can anyone please direct me to a regulated box mod that has had good SOLID reviews in terms of reliability and performance? If possible I would like it to have the following features:

* Up to at least 60w
* VV/VW
* Temp control
* Somewhat pocketable (no bigger than IPV4)
* Removable 18650 battery
* All black (yes, superficial I know..)
* Under $150 (or close to it)

In my research the SX mini would have been the best option but it's a little over my price range and I hear the black version is impossible to find so that's not going to work.

Both available in black. 60-70 bucks, consistent good reviews. Maybe some China critics will hate but pretty univsally respected.

I have a black 150w w/an Arctic 0.2 dual coil on it now as I dont drip w my rda's at work...

Sigelei has a new 75W with TC. However, I don't know yet, how it will hold up. I have it pre-ordered and it should arrive soon (mid June). Owning a sig 100+ and 150w, I can only think, it should be as good, even it's TC.

Thanks for the suggestion the Sig looks great. I also have an arctic tank and can't say enough good things about that thing!

Heatvapes invader mini is tc it only goes to 50w but it damn near indestructible. Twisted 420 ran it over with his car then did a review on it it great for work

sigelei 75W is a choice. and also recommend you tesla metal 160/120W TC mod

why do you need temp control when you have an rda? thats what airflow is for

I recently picked up a Tesla 120 Watt in wood. It, so far. hits like a freight train!! (They also have matal ones in black for the same price...) I have not had any issues so far (Too new to give a full review...barely a week) But it also has temp control (Allegedly....I have yet to figure that function out). I $70 and some change (that price includes shipping as well with USPS Priority Mail). Its seem to be a solid Mod .http://www.grottovapor.com/collections/box-mods/products/tesla-120w-metal-box-mod has the BEST PRICE on this mod (both wood and metal mods are the same price @ $66.87)
I would also recommend you stay away from the Eleaf 50 watt. I had issues with them (Went through 2 in as many weeks). They do not stand up to my heavy vaping habbits. Good luck with your search, and most of all.....HAVE FUN WITH IT!!

Aside from the bad tatoo from the 90's design on the side, that looks like a great deal... and solid, standard box mod w the tc chip that may be the future. Nice.

Well most tc mods I've seen reviewed they used rda's so what's his point
