I had an idea for a box that could switch from series to parallel and found that i was not the first.there where non finished plans randomly around the internet and in forums about it and found that BC box mod actually sells a box that can do this called "The Switch," however i dont like that theirs is a 1590B box and from a twisted 420 video seems not have the sides sanded flat so i decided to make my own. I figured out a way to fit it all in a 1590G box and still have the option of both series and parallel using a deferent method than "The Switch."
It has a recessed vt 510, a 120 amp MOSFET and the box can handle 50 amps serial and 100amps parallel, surpassing the current limits of battery's when its finished it will have a tactile switch (space for a normal push button), powder coated Tiffany blue and laser engraved.
The reason I post this is bc i was wondering if people think this is a cool idea and if people would, given the option, purchase this?
If i did try to sell them, which i am not currently, it would be probably $100 at most $120
Any comment or suggestions are welcome!

If you got a nice laser engraving on it that steps up from all the other common box mods on the market, hell yeah I would go for it.

I am actually looking for such box right now and only found the ones you mentioned from bc box mod. I just dont like the looks of it.

I actually dont like most designs when it comes to box mods. going into a hexohm / conspiracy way of design is the best you could do - IMO they are selling like hot bread bc of the design alone.

Hit me up if you are selling them, as long as shipping to europe is possible. If its going to be awesome, I am willing to buy enormous shipping costs, no matter what :)

Yea I will be posting pics when I'm finished with it and if ppl want them il sell them at 100 and I decided to go with a fatdaddy low profile v4 shortly. Also I think Il give the choice of the firing switch as an option a mushier one a clicke a small tactile and a plastic clicke. I will let you know when I finish testing the chips I designed
Also shipping would be in the price for us only and colors at start will be tiffany blue, white, soft pink, soft orange, lime green

Those already exist. What I think would be interesting is to run two pairs of batteries in parallel then put each bank in series.

Yea they do as I mention but in a bigger box that's not polished well imo so that y I wanted to make my own also there are tons of ppl selling boxes In series or parallel why can't there be 3 selling this type . But the problem with a box with 4 batteries is that shit will be heavy as hell

Mr. Pink my boy is building boxes in series and parallel here in the Albuquerque area and they are selling like crazy!! He builds several in 18650 and 26650 either dual and triple battery configurations. My advise to you is build a solid and of course safe box mod and put it out there for people to enjoy,

Wow that's cool if I knew that I might have never made my own.
I just was pissed when I went to vaposlam and wanted a New box mod and everyone's was sub par to me some more than others, I hate when they don't sand the sides or when they put a 14mm top cap on it and not make it recessed. it's just lazy to me so I wanted to offer a quality product. And I guess if ppl like it then they will buy it when the website goes up only time will tell

Ranger Mods CNC's the sides square. Your right, they look so much better without the hammond lean. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. Also, you may want to consider powder coating a black one.

yea black is standard color that should be included. im working with the idea of two toning them by engraving off the top layer exposing a the base coat but it may not work out
