$45 at a brick and mortar for an SMY 170 TC. The one with the big pretty screen!

I think it's great. I know it's an older mod, but I love the display, and reported problems about the 510 and battery door rattle are non-existent on mine.

Problem: Can't get the firmware to update! I'm following all the instructions that are on the Simeiyue website, and it still ain't upgrading .

I mean, I can't complain about 170w mod outta the box from a real store for $45. I mean, that's the FastTech price!

Did all the battery inserting and button pressing... Have the 1.0, so I had to go through all that... still don't work

try plugging your usb cable into the back of your machine also some usb cables do not correctly work with all devices try another usb cable and if you have more than one computer switch the usb swap may help as well
