Broly is back (and better than ever?)! Dragon Ball Super: Broly is in U.S. theaters in January and lots of Dragon Ball fans have been eagerly awaiting his return to the silver screen, excited to see how everything will play out between these three (dare we say, legendary) Saiyans.
Well, we’re taking a deeper look at the ending, how it affects Broly, and how it could impact the entire franchise.

Gogeta vs. Broly: Foes or Friends?
Gogeta and Broly have an epic battle -- no, for real though -- at one point. It seriously looks like they break a dimensional barrier -- or they’re trapped in an insane kaleidoscope. Anyway, they relentlessly attack each other at ridiculous speeds and insane power levels. But our protagonists prevail, finally getting the upper hand against their beastly foe. Gogeta’s about to disintegrate him with a massive energy blast, but in typical Dragon ball fashion the deus ex machina fans are so used to -- and love -- kicks in: THE DRAGON BALLS! Summon Shenron!
