Build mat cleaning?

Howdy, anyone ever try to clean a build mat? If so, were you able to do it without destroying it, and what did you use?
I have some older mats that are no longer available, and hesitant to try.

Dawn n water. Is my guess.

Yep, Dawn + warm water.

Can't go wrong using Dawn to clean 'nearly' anything. It doesn't have any harsh chemicals. They've used it to clean oil off critters after oil spills, so yeah mild, but effective.
