So, I would like to gather as much information as to how to build the kinds of coils to get my perfect vape.
I have been building different types in the hopes of figuring out just what kind of build will produce the vape I am looking for.
What vape am I looking for? I like a dense, flavorful vape, but one that is not hot. Barely warm...to cool.
I get this vape with thicker wire claptons, or say, 22 guage kanthal and running about .4-.6 ohm's at about 40-50 watts, but I run into one problem. Ramp up time. I have found that the larger wire requires a ramp up that takes longer than I'd like, but once it "warms up" as I chain vape, it stays warm and doesn't require the ramp up time. So, the 40-50W's seems to get the vape I want, minus the initial ramp up time on cold coils. I up the watts to fix the initial ramp up time, but then my vape gets too warm.
I have yet to experience TC that produces a dense/cool vape like I'm looking for, but perhaps I need to invest in a device that controls ramp up times at higher watts then backs off like the DNA200 mods can. However, I'm a Mac user not PC so I can't actually use this software...
