Buying a new charger in an hour or 2, quick advice would be great.....

Hi people.

I hope you are all doing OK.

I currently have a 2 bay Nite core I2 charger, but it is constantly on, and batteries are in a que to be charged. So sometime I use onboard charging, but try to use the nitecore for safety.

Now, I need a 4 bay charger really, that will be enough room, and with the I2, give me enough to charge 6 batteries at once. That, is more than enough.

The D4 seems about the best it is only £23, has a LCD screen with battery information, such as percentage until full capacity, which charging mode is in use, how long untill charging ends ETC.

My I2 jsut has 3 flashing lights, so it will be a nice upgrade.

I like how nitecore has worldwide insurance, so I trust them a bit more than the Efest charger I have been recommended by a few, I know with the new Efest you can choose charging modes, but the nitecore chooses what is best for the battery, and I like that more to be honest.

Also with Efests history of relabelling, I am not sure I would trust their chargers as much as a nitecore.

Does anyone know a viable alternative to the Nitecore D4, with a LCD or whatever display that displays this info, up to £25?

If not, I will order the nite core, as I got payed today (I know its saturday, I use barclays so get my pay on a saturday, others get it on a monday :p )

So, any advice on a quality charger would be much appreciated, but I think the nitecore may already be the best in my price range.

Thanks to everyone that takes the time to help me out.

Cheers, Conan.

Ahh, forgot to add how do I go about with married batteries in a 4 bay charger? Do I just keep using the I2 for the married batteries, or can I charge them together in the 4 bay charger?

Actually Xtar and efest make the 2 best chargers around as far as i know, for us vapors...Not really any quarrels with efest on the chargers...They cost more but like with anything else you get a better quality charger...I use the i2 as well and its been a great charger so far but i do want to upgrade at some point to either efest or xtar.

Just charge your married batteries together and youll be fine..use 2 married sets on a 4 bay and whatever on the i2. Or one married pair on the 4 bay and one on the i2..it doesnt matter really.

I went for the D2, as my nearest vape shop had the best price. Everywhere else it was £30 + along with the other 4 bay chargers, I got it for £23 plus £2.40 post and packaging.

It seemed like a good choice, nitecore do make quality brands so I went for it. I am sure I will not be dissapointed, plus it charges any battery that fits, from NI-mh and Ni-Cd to LiFeP04, so thought for the price and features that was the best deal really, LCD screen with info, as the I2 does a fine job, but it is a bit annoying not seeing the percentage left untill charge completes, or wether it is using CC, CV, or the other mode I can't remember to charge, on the nitecore all that information is displayed like percentage, what Amp rate it is charging at, and what mode it is on.

Should arrive on tuesday as I ordered today, they are only about 25 miles away from me in London so I always get it next day with them, they always ship on the Monday (all my other packages from them, and that is quite a lot, have worked this exact way, so I see no different this time.)

Just waiting for the 4 extra 25R's I ordered to arrive and I will have plenty batteries, I only have 12 or 14 I can't remember, but I know sometimes I was having to wait or use onboard charging as the charger was full and there was a que lol. With 6 bays now, I can't see that happening again.
