So I currently own a mutation x v4 and a project sub ohm swirlfish v2, god I've said this a lot lately haha, and I'm thinking about buying either a velocity or a bullet RDA. I'll be using it for cloud chasing and would love some input before I throw cash out.

If anybody owns either and has some first hand experience with them it would be incredibly helpful, I trust people here more than I trust the 90% of wanna be reviewers on YouTube.

I'm a RDA freak. The Aeronaut definitely surpasses everything I own for cloud chasing. Kinda wish I didn't buy half of what I own. :D
It certainly looks good and innovative really but it's only capable of single coils. Plus I already posted the two I'm looking into. For where I am right now, I lack the skill to build a complicated single coil such as an alien coil ect so going dual is the best choice for me now.

Plus the airflow on the velocity plus the quad coil capability looks very appealing to me.

Keep seeing the doge x2, combination of doge and mutation x but would rather not as I have a mutation x that I'm pretty happy with.

Just to let you know. I build duals on the Aeronaut. Single coils are not for me.

How'd you manage that? Just wondering cause from the review I looked at it looked like it couldn't take more. I suppose if you put them in and pulled them to the sides it would work though...

DO NOT GET THE X2, get the V2 or both, and use the V2 base with the X2 Barrel and Top Cap. The X2 has a circular insulator and Ive melted them in a few pulses and then the posts ends up spinning bad but the rest of it is great. The V2 had a D shaped insulator that wont spin and seems to hold up better, this and airflow are the only differences between the two though.

Eh, I was never a fan of them. I love my mut and I don't see an incredible difference worth buying it for the exact price of my mut. Technically buying the same RDA twice for a slightly improved airflow.

I actually use the X2 Barrel and Top Cap on top of my Twisted Messes Mini deck, I had to flip the barrel to lower the airholes but its a damn good combo. Ive ran 180w builds on it and the airflow and how its designed makes it feel like its barely warm.
Heres a vid of it in action together @ 180W (showing off@ Jiffymart lol)

I have both the bullet and velocity minis. The bullet kicks butt for the cost. Lots of flavor and lots of cloud. The velocity is very easy to build on and likes vertical coils though. I used a vertical single alien coil on mine sand it also puts out. But if I had to choose one it would be the bullet. I like the way it vapes and I like the way it sits and looks on my mods.

Now the doge 2 and the twisted are two of my fav atties. I know - not in the consevation. I l;ike the twisted so much i went out and got both a 13th heaven and an el cabron ( same attise essentially). I have the three of them on three different mods and build them all very similar.

I just bought a subnose RDA in copper, btw. That is another little RDA that you might enjoy if you are thinking of a bullet style.

Now you are thinking - well how many damn mods does he have and how many atties. I have too many that's how many.

Build drip vape repeat.

Yup love my new twisted.
I love the Twisted Messes, The 13 Heavens& 9 Hells and the Mini Hybrid for both of them, I still need to get the El Cabron and the Sapor and then I have most of the RDA's with the same exact deck...Even the $15-$25 clones are amazing (you really cant pick the real one out besides the serial number)

I only have a Tobeco Velocity clone, but I will say the deck is VERY easy to build on. It offers plenty of room for multiple coil options as well as easily adjusted airflow.

I've never built a vertical coil haha, never saw a need to really... However at this rate I might be buying both.

I thought about buying the twisted messes and I keep seeing reviews on it and no matter how much I look at it I just keep seeing a glorified piece of shit... I'm sorry I had to say that and maybe it's just me but everybody keeps claiming it's the best because it was built by a coil builder for a coil builder. No matter how many times I hear that I just see the same thing, big post holes and airflow options and to me it's the same thing I see on other RDAs for double the price. I get it, you pay for quality, but it's not that high in quality compared to many other RDAs that are cheaper. It just looks like a fancier version of any 4 post RDA to me. By fancier I mean better posts (not hole size but how they are attached to the deck), color options, more precise airflow controls (for when you HAVE to be that picky person), and more options in tips. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but it just doesn't seem as great as its talked up to me.
