I am looking at the Samsung 18650-25r but not sure where is a good place to buy them that isnt expensive....or should i go with a different battery for the IPV D2? i was given two batteries, but i want to get a couple more as last night i upended the tank all over my device. I cleaned it up,and there was a small bubble under one of the batteries. seems to be charging fine so far.

As long as the cover isn't torn and bare metal showing a bubble won't hurt. I don't know what batteries you are using so the 25R's may be a good idea anyway. The shrink wrap on the battery is easily replaceable as well. If they charge OK and aren't getting hot when in use waiting is fine.

Size isn't the issue. Any bare metal in the area covered by the wrap is not good. The 25R and likely the LG are good batts. You can get inexpensive replacement wraps here - http://battwrap.com/ shipping's only a buck. A little electrical tape as an emergency fix.
Just need a hair dryer to shrink them. Peel off the old one and save the ring at the top.

You aren't going to get it hot enough with a hair dryer to be a concern. It will shrink long before that.

30Q was rated by Samsung as 15A but according to the tests it's 20A just like the 25R only it has higher capacity then it.
It also did better in the tests then the HG2, so it's the battery to get unless you have a problem with pink :)
