Activision Blizzard is currently facing serious ongoing allegations of harassment and mistreatment of marginalized workers. To learn more, please visit our timeline as well as our in-depth report on the subject.

At Opening Night Live, Activision shared new campaign footage of one of the main characters in the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard.

The gameplay footage has you play Petrova, a Russian sniper fighting on the Eastern Front. As a sniper, Petrova's movements are more stealthy. Petrova can sneak behind enemies for stealth kills, or parkour up ledges to find good sniper vantage points.

But if needed, Petrova can take a shotgun into tight corridors and fight your way through Nazis.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is the newest Call of Duty game from Sledgehammer Games. Players will once again return to World War 2, but the developers are taking a more narrative-focused approach this time around.

The story centers around an elite group of allied soldiers, history's first special forces unit, as they try and finish the war for good.

At an even earlier this year, Call of Duty: Vanguard shared details on its campaign and multiplayer including the four main characters the story will follow and the multiplayer's focus on "smaller, tighter maps."

In addition, a new Call of Duty: Warzone map is coming from Raven Studios built in the Call of Duty: Vanguard engine to better allow new content into Warzone. Treyarch is also handling the new Zombie mode which will be a prequel to the zombie mode from Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
