Can a mod make my juice taste bad? (God Mod 180)

I've had all sorts of regulated and mechs and I got this cause it can fire at 12.6V. I like to vape that hot, this isn't about that.

No matter what atomizer I use, all of a sudden every single juice I put in here as an awful. sweat like taste.

Can this be the device..?

It's how much power/voltage you are putting into the coil/wick that you've selected/made that controls how a juice tastes... not the device that is delivering that power/voltage.

They make juices specifically for high power for that reason... not all juices will work at higher levels.

This ALL OF A SUDDEN started happening. Like one hit fine the next hit bam. Sweat taste.

I don't have any other mods anymore.

I am not a noob, I'm very aware of VG/PG ratio's in juice. I'm a cloud chaser and I've owned a world of different devices. I have over 12 atomizers. I do all kinds of builds and I even have three different kinds of cotton to wick. I only use PG Free juice. Only use. Only. It's not my juice, and this happened at 10.5 volts after I had been using it at this power for several days. It just, all of a sudden, boom.

That's probably PWM at a high frequency. You might be frying your juice rather than atomizing it.

I have heard the God 180 runs hotter than other mods at the same settings, but if it is a new issue and you have done all the swaps I would have to maybe think maybe god just wigged out lol. Shame you don't have another device to put the build on to see how it is reacting.

I'm buying either a Tesla 120W Raptor or a Sigelei 150W tomorrow and throwing this POS in the trash.. never buy SMY. I've used the 260W and the 90W and they both had issues of their own I finally thought I found a happy medium but.. nope. I think dude who said it was frying instead of atomizing is right on the money.

That being said........................

We vapers are all subject to the condition of "Shinyitus".

Just can't help purchasing huge powerful mods with lots of bells and whistles.

This mod seems overall to be a giant "Turd" disguised as an APV.

After reading review after review of the "God MOD" it seems that there are more than one manufacturer of the device.

At least one of them is the Lee Brothers.

One possible thing you can do is to remove the batteries, set the case under a very bright light and see if there are any non insulated metal components visible. Get some thick electricians tape and cover up ALL exposed metal surfaces.

Give it a try and see if it helps.

And I hope it does.

PS, when I first saw them advertised, I wanted one for myself immediately if not sooner.

But since I am a well known cheapskate, I waited for the price to drop as well as to see what other vapers thought about them after owning one for a month or two.

That being said, I never ordered one.

Try another juice. I always get used to any one juice and my taste goes away. I've been off butts for over a year. This happens with all juices, all brands, and all ratios. I hate it.

Yes. The vape shop, well, one of the local vape shops I hang out at (I frequent all four in town, but I'm usually at one of two), I was there, vaping. Just bought a metal chuff cap for the new Troll Addy I bought and we were discussing Yihi chips, specifically the SX350 and the 250 (or 260 not sure) that was supposed to be coming out soon. A guy there named Dickface (you know who the fuck you are if you're reading this Dickface) who dislikes me waited until I went to the bathroom, which at the same time nobody else except the only staff member working was there (and he was in the back) runs over and spits a generous amount in all three bottles of juice I have. I found this out because a guy working there called and said he witnessed it on the camera's after checking them after close. Guy knows me real well, we hang out. So he called me. So I'll be having some words and maybe some fists with this Dickface soon. But I'm stoked my mod is fine. Still getting that 120W Tesla box tomorrow to use with my Herakles. But the God box is fine. I switched to an old bottle of DIY I had laying around and forgot about and it's all good in the hood. I'd like to find out why my coils make a whining sound though, but I can live with that one.

I got sketched out when I tried a fresh build on a Doge V2 I hadn't touched in a while and my juice tasted the same, using it on a Smok XPro M65 (POS Mod) I also forgot about.

So I'm shit out on a bottle of Mythos Hades I got from MOV here in town, a bottle of Charlie Noble Treasure Island 2, and a bottle of Strawberry Brulee. All excellent juices. All 30ml bottles nearly full. Shaking my fucking head. The Charlie Noble was my favorite but least used cause it has PG in it and I'm allergic to the stuff. Small amounts won't hurt from time to time, but yeah. My precious PG free juice, all ruined. Now I'm using a 95VG/5VG blend I made myself. Bavarian Cream. It's steeped to hell from sitting so long, it's actually pretty good.

2015, I'm guilty but not on since 13 year old complaining about someone spitting in his juice when he couldn't explain anything and was looking pretty noobish.

There is no way I'd be vaping at 12 volts if I didn't know that mods don't flavor juice.

I figured as much. It would be difficult to spit in someones juice without them knowing and frankly unless some neck beard hipster that would do something like that hadn't brushed his teeth in long enough time, a person likely wouldn't notice unless the juice was just sizzling while burning off the saliva and AIDs of said neckbeard. Just felt good to puff my chest is all because I know what I would do.
