can i use stainless steel coils on tc?

I have a vaporesso target using a unwell crown tank. My Ni coil worked fine on 520f and now I want to use the ss coil that came with the unwell crown tank. Can I use the tc on my target or must I use watts only? Can't find the answer anywhere. Cheers.

The kit comes with a kanthal coil and a Ni200 coil, according to vaporesso.com. It only mentions Ni200 and T1 for TC.
I would be safe and just use the Ccell ss coil in power mode.

Nickel is the only one I know of that Has To Be vaped in TC mode because nickel can leach out hazardous chemicals if over heated and isn't worth risking in any way shape or form. But as for Ss I think I can be used in wattage mode but if you think you know a good temp you like using Ss at then it could technically be used in tc mode but I'd get a second opinion if I was you.

Your MOD should have different TC modes for Ni, Ti, TiNi, SS and CC.

NI and Ti can only be used in TC mode
SS and NIFe can be used in both
Kenthal and NiChrome can be used in wattage mode only (unless you have a hohmtech device)

But this is dependent on the device, OP's device doesn't do SS in TC, but he would be ok to use it in wattage mode

Actually, Kanger does NC TC as well. Don't use it though, don't like the metallic taste added by NC.

Actually just stuck one in to try it. It does seem to work, gets hotter/cooler, adjusts wattage, Topbox Mini Platinum. So if it doesn't, it gives every appearance of doing so.
