They need to either ban smoking entirely and let the cartels take care of it or not because "Street Business" minded individuals will be crossing the border like crazy from the US to Canada with trunk loads of Newports and get rich doing it. - 5150

Wouldn't that make "tobacco" the dominating flavor?
Why not ban all but menthols?

if "Almost half of them smoked menthols." then wouldn't that mean that more then half of them smoked "tobacco"?

When Canada raised taxes hugely the last time, go fast boats were ferrying loads of cigs in and the dudes doing it were firing automatic weapons at the patrol boats trying to stop them. I remember that from the news a long time back.
