Welcome to VU. I also make my own juice--though I don't make all vg juice. Typically mine falls into the 60/40, 50/50 and 40/60 range for pg/vg. I don't have a problem with the pg (other than perhaps finding it from time to time) so having an all vg juice would be mostly for cloud chasing for me, and while I don't knock people doing that--its just not my thing.

That said I do buy a juice that is "Max vg". Probably mostly vg plus the flavoring agents. And I always get my nic in a vg base as I find it easier to control than pg when mixing--but I'm a tad ocd when I'm mixing.
