Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress Billie Lourd has confirmed that she's not playing a young Princess Leia Organa in the upcoming sci-fi film.
The daughter of Carrie Fisher, Lourd told Entertainment Tonight that the gossip of her playing a young Leia in a flashback scene for The Force Awakens is untrue. "That's a lie. That's a rumor,” said Lourd. “I wish I played a young princess.”
While Lourd denied the Leia rumor, the 22-year-old actress was quiet about exactly whom she is portraying in the J.J. Abrams-directed film. “I can't talk to you about the character, or the lack of character,” Lourd said. “I didn't even say that. That was too much.”
