CBS TV Studios president David Stapf says he wants Star Trek-related programing on all the time through the CBS All Access streaming service.
In an interview with Deadline, Stapf spoke at length about upcoming Star Trek content, and he didn't shy away when asked a question about how big of a franchise universe CBS wants to build for Star Trek.
"My goal is that there should be a Star Trek something on all the time on All Access," said Stapf. "We know it draws an audience, and Discovery has done quite well."
CBS All Access platform president and COO Marc DeBevoise and CBS All Access executive vice president of original content Julie McNamara also joined in on the interview, discussing Discovery, spin-offs, returning characters and more.
