CE5 Clearomizer Tank -help!

Hello guys, not extremely new to vaping but I haven't had the economy to buy advanced mods, coils and batteries etc!

I got a problem though, with my CE5 Clearomizer, it says on the package and the website I bought it from, that the coil and the head is changeable, but it is pretty much impossible to get the base/bottom end cap off?!

I'll upload one picture aswell, of my CE5 Tank! 1443034501946-999037661.jpg

It's supposed to unscrew at the bottom ring (the rough notched one) then that coil screws into the base of it and gets screwed back on to the tank base, it must just be stuck. if you can't get that part off, I would see if the seller will replace it, Also look into some other tank options, there are newer styled tanks out now for the same price point that are better and easier to use and switch coils on. Good luck!!!

The knurled portion unscrews from the smooth portion of the base.

Yep, what they said. Had my fair share of those. Hated them. Kept me from smoking, though!

Put it in the freezer for a few minutes. The plastic will contract and it will unscrew with a jar opener.

You end up spending more in the long run with these clearos since they break so often and need to be trashed. In fact, I quit smoking with these for a whole year, but became so frustrated I eventually ended up back on stinkers.

A decent tank with replaceable premade coils will go far. You can get a mod for under 40$ and a tank for under 30. The coils will last way longer than the CE5s. Vape shops (some) love to push CE5s because you'll be buying tons of them to support your vaping. Upgrade soon as you can and you'll be happy.

Thanks for all the replies! I will upgrade as soon as I have cash enough for it! I got the eGo-T this time just so I can quit smoking first, then I wanna get into vaping just as a hobby! I tried putting it in the freezer, but for some reason, this CE5 Clearomizer, has the ribbed bottom but it doesn't come off. Apparently, if I trust my e-shop, they told me the wrong stuff, cause this one isn't supposed to come off, it is just ribbed for no reason at all..

Might consider the Iclear series from Innokin. I Clear16 and IClear 30. For sale at Fasttech for 3.20 and 6.50 each. Both have replaceable coils and and have great flavor and decent vapor production. I keep a couple on hand for backups.
