Does not seem to wick like I am used to.
I use it just like I did cotton. Cut a strip, twist one end, thread it through. You might want to use a tad more than you would with cotton. It doesn't expand. BE SURE your hands are really clean,it picks up the oils from your skin very easily. Makes the vape taste wonky. I switched to rayon after I tried it the first time.

DON'T BOIL IT.

I just use Kanthal. 29 or 30 gauge on a drill bit. I'm a mouth to lung vaper, I just keep the airflow low. I hope it works out for you. I've been so impressed with the flavor and how long the wicks last. I can get up to 2 weeks, depending on what kind of flavor I have.

One thing I find is that, in the coil, use way more than you think could possibly work as a start. When you pull it through the coil, it should squeak and make those jumpy advances that tell you cotton is a bit too tight.

It did take me five or six tries to adjust to rayon, and every time it was in favor of going with more. I'm finding it's hard to choke the coil, but easy to go too little and get one that leaks a bit.

Flavor and durability are incomparable once you get it right, however!
