Change wick for every flavor change?

I was curious and if this is in the wrong forum please let me know. but when switching flavors do you change your wick? I have the mutation and was wondering if I could just fire it and get the flavor off the wick and change to a different flavor or change it all together. same with my rba section on my kanger subtank mini.

Sometimes it's not a bad idea, especially if the flavors you're switching from and to are total opposites. If my next flavor compliments the one I just finished, I'll use the same wick, it'll wash away a couple hits into the second one. If it's going from a really strong flavor to a light one, or if I know a flavor hangs in the wick for awhile, yeah, I'll change.
I like using rayon for that reason. One hit and your previous flavor is gone. Practically no transfer.

Pretty much what Teresa said, though when I try new flavors I always swap between testing and even go as far as to dryburn the coils and do a quick cleaning of the device. Some flavors linger more than others, for instance I always clean out the tank when moving on from tart fruity flavors, especially if I'm going to something milky.

Not switching it out is something great, yesterday morning I was on a rich chocolaty flavor and swapped over to strawberry milkshake and that transition was nice like Neapolitan ice cream.

I actually think that would be a good transfer, sounds yummy....lol!
If I'm making juice, I either change the wick in between samples or drip a little unflavored to cleanse the wick. You want a truer flavor when mixing, so you'll know if you need to add/subtract anything from the next mix.

Sounds good to me. I will say if you went the other direction Banana lingers quite a bit in my experience, which can be good or bad. Strawberry banana custard sounds solid though :D

I never change my wick unless it's burnt or just plain worn out or I'm changing coils. That was not always the case. Before I figured out my building preferences and what method of wicking works for me, I changed wicks often. Now I use Scottish rolls on 4mm coils, and the wick goes pretty dry so if I want to change flavors I just wait until I've vaped all of what's in the wick. I use Japanese cotton pads and rarely notice flavor transfer. If I do, like teresa said, its gone in a couple hits.

I put the strawberry banana cream in with the strawberry custard and it wasn't bad. I think I might get a little froggy and do half and half in my subtank :)

If you're dripping I find that a few drops of straight VG on the wicks works great. In a few pulls the old flavor will tend to be gone, at least in my experience.

That's a good trick, I'm gonna have to get a small bottle of vg soon and try it.

Yeah, I actually saw that on here recently and I've been doing it. Has worked in tanks for me also. Just be careful if your tank can't wick 100%vg. Maybe get a 60/40 mix or something so you don't dry hit.

I use an orchid v2 clone and I'm having no issues so far with heavy vg, I haven't tried 100% vg in it but I've got some 95% vg and its doing fine. The Ov2 is a rebuildable, its a dual coil but I'm running it in single coil mode because it was drinking juice so fast. I am not sure if I will keep it much longer or not, I bought it for convenience but I can just as easily use my dripper now that I know how to properly wick.

I have cranberry pomegranate I made. It messes up any wick, I find. At least for the other flavors I vape, that could be considered similar palates. You could save one dripper or tank for the odd flavor. That's what I do, especially for chocolates.
