I recently came across an apollo mod in a trade (not really worried if it's authentic or not I still coming out good), I've been trying to determine if it's authentic or not due to it having a few differences over most authentic apollo posts I've seen. It'll only allow me to upload the one pic I have the others are too large

I have no personal experience, but just from looking at it, I feel like it's a clone. For some reason the "O"s seem just a little off to me, but I couldn't tell you for sure. Glad you're enjoying it though, I've not had any problems with clones that I own so looks like you got a good deal 
It appears to have a recessed button which is a good sign. Most of the clones I've seen don't have this feature. If it's a clone, it's a very good one. Should also have a hybrid top.
Looking around the web I probably need to change my vote. All the white authentic Apollo's I find have a raw copper bottom cap, not white. And I see what the previous poster comment about the "o"'s being off. They do appear to be off. All the authentic photos I see the lettering is perfect from any angle.
Verdict ----- It's a clone, even though I can't seem to find a recessed button on a clone, there apparently is somewhere.
I have a clone Apollo, but the letters are perfect. It doesn't have a recessed fire button, but it is the hardest hitting single 18650 mod I own, and I own a few. There is no way anyone can convince me that the authentic hits $150 better than mine does, and probably not yours either. It will give you years of use. They're virtually indestructible. Enjoy it.
