I just got my cherry bomber clone today but I'm having some issues, it only hits every other time I fire the pin and when it doesn't fire the button gets really hot. Will magnets stop this if I change it? Please help me so I can get it working properly, thanks

Yes. What was the question?

What atomizer are you using? Does the center pin protrude past the threading? I ask because you are describing the behavior of a dead short. Every time I've experienced a hot button, the cause has been an atty that was a poor fit for the mod.

A plume veil, it works fine on my Nemesis. What is a dead short? This is my first box.

By short I mean that the symptom you describe suggests that you may have a direct connection from the positive pin to the ground circuit. This can happen with some 510 connections if the atomizers positive pin does not extend past the 510 threading. This is why working on your Nemesis is not an adequate answer ... I know the Nemesis top cap and it is forgiving. I don't know the Cherry Bomber top cap, but it may not be as forgiving.

I have the authentic cherry bomber. Never had any issues with a hot button. And I super sub ohm .09-.11. Make sure the 510 connector is fully tightened. Also make sure the "ring" with the flat spot fully touches the firing button when pressed.

If you have a different atty, try it on your Bomber.

I tried my mad hatter as well, same result. I keep hearing that magnets in the firing pin may solve this problem. The contact pin that goes in under the 510 connection is making contact with the Atty so I'm wondering if maybe it's a matter of cheap contacts and if so where does one get replacement copper contacts. Has anyone had this same problem and fixed it? When it does fire it hits nicely...

As far as I know. There is no available replacement parts. The best thing to do is ask the manufacturer ie. The clone company.

Not the first I heard of this prob on this mod.... Had a cousin redo a new button cnc'd with nickel coated neodymium magnets... Voltage drop was nil and no more hot button-

This was on an authentic though- not a clone ...

That's awesome, where do you get those nickel coated magnets from? That would be awesome...

The magnets I reffered you to are THE ones for the authentic. They are specified to be high temperature.

I got my magnets this weekend and it fixed the hot button problem plus now my bomber works flawlessly. If anyone else has this problem I suggest ordering the magnets first. Thanks for everyone's help...

It doesn't cause a dead short. It bypasses the switch and causes it to auto fire. Yes if it auto fires long enough you could have problems but it is not a dead short.

Does anyone know a good atty for this mod? And how do I assembly the magnets? I am also having the same problem using a dodge v2 atty on a clone thou.

Just take it all apart and after you take the button out then sand the paint around the inside of where the button goes and then that should work it worked for me now mine works perfectly
