I got the cherry bomber clone with the crappy switch. I've ordered the panzer magnets I've seen recommended as well as clearing the switch housing of paint but I'm curious if anyone knows why the magnets help? Thoughts and insights?

Describe the switch problem. A hot or spongy switch should be remedied by magnets. The switch on the case is designed to rotate and lock for safety. On my authentic, it tends to spin a couple degrees and feel like it's hanging up. It's a quirk that you learn to control with your thumb or finger.

The spring that came with mine was very weak. I replaced it with a spring that I had here, but ordered the magnets for the cherry bomber. They are $4.50 on eBay.
