Cherry bomber

I am fairly new to building rda's and mods I have a cherry bomber with a patriot rda I just built my second coil with 28g kanthal I twisted it and came out to .27 ohms but it seems I have to hold the firing button down a while for me to get a good hit I'm thinking I might need better batteries my ? Is what would be the best batteries to buy for the cherry bomber any info is appreciated

It's probably a combo of things.

Are your batteries fully charged?
What batteries are you using?
Single coil or dual?
Do you have thicker wire?

It will hit good when I fully charge them for the first 5 or 6 hits but then after that I have to hold the firing button down for a little bit to get a good hit ,I'm using the 18650 batteries that it came with didn't give me much other info for the batteries ,and I'm running dual coils I only have the 28g wire right now but like I said I twisted 2 peices of wire to make it thicker and I got them at .27 ohms

You are pulling 15.6 amps. Nothing out of range for a good set of batteries. since you don't know what cells you have, then I would assume you do NOT have a good set of batteries. Get a set of Samsung 25Rs or some LG HE2 Or HE4's.

I'd also check to make sure your set screws on your coils are tight.

Be VERY careful of using batteries that you do NOT know what they are. Shit can go KABOOM. ONLY use good batteries, this can't be stressed enough. You don't want batteries venting/exploding.

I saw some Cherry Bomber kits from eBay. The kit had Trustfires, and or laptop batteries. Please don't use these batteries. Those batteries are like 4 amps max.

Just so you are aware, Sony's are among the top counterfeited batteries out there. I buy Samsung and LG's from reputable sources.

Lightning Vapes are authentic. 3 tab positive contact. I also removed the wrapper to make sure, when I first bought them.

Where would you recommend buying batteries from
If I was buying from ebay?
The sellers name is "genuinecells". I have bought from them several times.
From just the web? Lots of people get their cells from lioncels.com, I think it is.

To be honest, all mine have come from B&M's or genuinecells from e-bay.

RESEARCH all the cons of the cherry bomber!!!! I own myself and it has a lot of problems with the fire button and that could very well be your problem!

Buy Authentic and Tested batteries at LiionWholesale.com, I would stray from buying Sony batteries and stick with Samsung 25Rs and LG HE2 or HE4s...Throw away those batteries that came with your Cherry Bomber, using them is exactly like pulling the pin on a hand grenade.

Any Metal RDA you place on top becomes a part of the Circuit and can cause a arc or short if something comes between the Cherry Bomber Chassis and the RDA....I would invest in some Vape Bands and keep them around the RDA (Not Over the Air Holes) just as a precaution.
