New Top Gear presenter, Chris Evans has quit the show following its latest six-episode series.
The presenter - who joined alongside Matt Le Blanc and four other hosts after the controversial departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - made the announcement on his Twitter account:
Stepping down from Top Gear. Gave it my best shot but sometimes that's not enough. The team are beyond brilliant, I wish them all the best.
