claption coil

heey u just got my new tank (griffin 25 plus) very happy with it.

i did buy geekvape pre made claption wire but when i put it in my tank when i heat up the coil the ohm keep going up from 30 ohm to 40 ohm, is that normal.

now i put my normal kantal wire in there just to be save.

can any one tell me whats happening??

i have to add that on the website i other it from it says it is kantal,
but on the kit it says u have to dry heat it before butting it in temp mode, and i believe kantal cant do temp mode soooo if someone can help me would me great.

Fluctuating ohm readings are usually caused by loose connections.
Also, stainless steel's resistance rises as it's heated.
So either you have a poor connection, or ss instead of kanthol.

And you are correct about kanthol not being usable with TC. Only the Hohmtech G2 and Slice can do that.

there is not a mod made that correctly uses Kanthal with TC you are best to stay with SS if you want the most accurate TC the DNA 200 and others have claimed that KANTHAL can work none really do. What they attempt to do is use a power curve to simulate TC

i looked arround on the kit and i see SS316l i asume thats what u mean by ss soo i need to order other claption wire becose i like to use normal watt mode. and i will inform the website that they need to make it clear it is SS stainless steel thanks for the help i wil other some other calpton wire.

however they simulate it, it works just fine on the G2 and Slice. Doesn't matter how the burger is made as long as it's yummy

Never fun when they get your order wrong.
However, SS is fine in watt mode. Many prefer it over kanthol for flavor, and it doesn't outgas like Ni and Ti when dry-burned.
I make my own claptons using kanthol cores with SS316L wrap. I can't taste a difference, but some people can.

OP isn't using TC, and I don't use a DNA.
